Dr Jonty Heaversedge

Jonty is a practicing GP, author, and broadcaster whose ongoing work on the frontline of primary care allows him to retain perspective on both the challenges facing healthcare deliverers and the needs of patients.

Jonty is chair of the Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group and in 2017 he was appointed Medical Director for Primary Care and Digital Transformation at NHS England (London).

He has also worked as a broadcaster, appearing on three series of the BBC’s Street Doctor, and co-presenting the BBC One series Lifegivers, looking at stories of how lives have been changed by organ donation.

Jonty joined ICHP as a director in 2019 and is now an executive director.
